› Name change: Effective July 1, schools in the Greater Collegedal­e School System — A.W. Spalding Elementary, Collegedal­e Adventist Middle School and Collegedal­e Academy — have been consolidat­ed under one name, Collegedal­e Academy, serving early childhood through 12th grade. › Pastor anniversar­y: Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, 1734 E. Third St., will honor the pastor, Carlos Williams and his wife with special events this weekend. A banquet is scheduled at 5 p.m. today in the fellowship hall; tickets are $25. A worship celebratio­n at 9:30 a.m. Sunday will feature the Rev. Greene Davidson III, pastor of St. James Baptist Church of Leighton, Alabama, as guest speaker.

› Church anniversar­y: St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2514 Williams St., will celebrate its 130th anniversar­y Sunday. Ronald Harris, associate pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Chattanoog­a, will bring the 11 a.m. message on “130 Years of Faith, Family, Friends and Fellowship — Worshiping in Love.” The colors for the day are red and white with gold accessorie­s. st.paulamecha­tt.org.

› Special services: Pastor Danny Brown of Athens, Tennessee, will bring the message and his wife, Katie, will sing during services at 6 p.m. Sunday at Oakwood Church of God of Prophecy, 3927 Webb Road. Brown and Oakwood’s pastor, Barry Lee, will lead a healing service at 6 p.m. Aug. 18 with Victorious Gospel Singers providing music. Summer revival:

Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 N. Chamberlai­n Ave., will be in revival at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13-15. Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church, 1115 N. Moore Road, will celebrate the fifth anniversar­y of the pastor and his wife, the Rev. Gary and Cathy Hathaway, Aug. 17-18.
