Ricketts, Holt back at Bryan

- STAFF REPORTS

Former Bryan College soccer standouts Stephen Ricketts and Polly Holt have returned to their respective programs as assistant coaches. Both were excellent students who graduated in 2017, both were defenders and both were first-team all-conference as seniors. Ricketts, also the new resident director of Bryan’s Long Hall, was the Appalachian Athletic Conference defensive player of the year. “I am extremely grateful to Bryan for allowing me the opportunity to come and work with the soccer program,” Ricketts said in a school release. “The time I spent on the pitch as a Lion had such an impact in my life. I am thankful for the chance to play a small part in continuing Bryan’s rich tradition of men’s soccer.” Said Holt in a separate release: “I’m excited to be back on the hill and help serve on staff for a program that is very near to my heart. It was amazing to be part of the remarkable growth experienced by the women’s soccer program during my playing career, and now to be able to support and help continue the development of the team as a coach is such an amazing opportunity.”
