Jeff Phillips

Jeffrey Lynn Phillips age 66 of Hixson passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Jeff was born in Clearfield, PA on October 10, 1953 the son of the late Charles and Alta (Hartzfeld) Phillips. He was also preceded in death by his sister Barbara Phillips.

Jeff was a graduate of Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh, PA and retired after 38 years as a mechanical engineer in the mechanical piping design department of Worley Parsons located in Chattanooga. He was an avid history buff and attended the Dallas Bay Church in Soddy Daisy.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Tanya (Fisher) Phillips of Hixson, son, Matthew (Robin) Phillips, two daughters, Shannon (Shane) Rogers, Heather (Josh) Aslinger, stepson Nick (Becca) Thomas, and step-daughter Samantha Thomas all of Soddy Daisy.

He is also survived by two brothers, Brett (Barb) Phillips of Waynesburg, PA, Dennis (Kathy) Phillips of Ooltewah, sister, Leslie Phillips of Amagansett, NY, grandchildren, Logan Phillips, Katie Phillips, Megan Phillips, Hannah Rogers, Michaela Rogers, Ruby Aslinger, Obbie Aslinger and step grandson Mason Thomas.

A Celebration of Life services for Jeff will be held in the near future.
