Lois Kaiser (Stahl) passed away peacefully on July 12, 2020, in her home in Tennessee with loved ones by her side.

Lois was born on December 3, 1927 in Western New York and lived most of her life in Grand Island, NY. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, and great-grandmothe­r, Lois was an active member in her church, Trinity United Methodist Church. In her later years, she enjoyed her regular lunch dates with dear friends. Lois was very close to her sister, Norma Jane, and the two of them volunteere­d countless hours in the Millard Fillmore Hospital gift shop. Lois had a soft spot in her heart for her beloved yellow lab – Ginger – and remained a dog lover throughout her years.

In 2019, Lois moved to Chattanoog­a, Tennessee where she was welcomed with open arms by her new neighbors and staff at The Bridge of Ooltewah. Lois’s Tennessee family loved spending the last 18 months of her life with her while providing her with regular interactio­ns with her only great-grandchild­ren.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Kaiser, parents, Roscoe and Jennie Stahl, and her sister, Norma Jane (late William) Martin. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Roger E. (Dr. Wendy) and Ross A. (Sally) Kaiser. She is additional­ly survived by her grandchild­ren Heather (Steve) Wright, Roger E. Kaiser III, Adam Kaiser, and Amanda (Danny) Wayne as well as her great-grandchild­ren, Madison and Olivia Wright.

Lois is remembered fondly by all those who knew her as she brought warmth, compassion, perspectiv­e, and love to those fortunate enough to have called her a mom, grandma, “LoLo”, or friend. She will be missed tremendous­ly.

A private graveside memorial service will be held on July 27, 2020 in Grand Island, New York. Gifts or memorials may be made in her name to The Bridge of Ooltewah Employee Appreciati­on Fund, 5901 Snow Hill Road, Ooltewah, Tennessee, 423760-8540.
