Daniel L. Jolly

Daniel L. Jolly, age 75, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga/Hamilton County, born on February 8, 1945.

He was employed at Koehring Southern for 20 years and Miller Industries for 7 years. He loved to go to the flea markets and auto auctions and NASCAR. He helped many of his friends by reselling items he had purchased. He always had a beautiful smile for everyone. He was an active member of the Positive Christian Singles at First-Centenary United Methodist Church and volunteered to cook at picnics and other activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Mattie Jolly; siblings, Virginia, Bill, Betty, Donald, Wilma Jean, Norma, Burnard, Soney, Glenna Fay, and Colin.

He is survived by brother, Ivan Jolly; sisters, Sherry Bean and Brenda Smith; special friend Syble Lynch; and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 2-6 pm on Sunday, August 2nd at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Goodin officiating.
