ROSSVILLE - Allen Lloyd Summerlin, peacefully passed away to his home in Heaven November 18, 2020.

He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He loved spending time with his family, sitting on his porch, walking his dog and an occasional conversati­on about politics. Mr. Summerlin was very proud to have served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Mueller Company after 30 years. Mr. Summerlin had an appreciati­on for different types of music and played the fiddle and harmonica. He was known for his loved of photograph­y and home movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs.

Claude Summerlin; brother, Wayne Summerlin and sister, Martha Morgan; first wife, Bettye Liner Summerlin and second wife, Delores Gaines Summerlin.

Survivors are six children, Greg (Karen) Summerlin, Rhonda (Damon) Perry, Terry (Donna) Summerlin, Angie (David) Wilson, Marynia (Herb) Myers and Lisa Edge; grandchild­ren, Heather, Ryan, Brandon, Nick, Justin Nathan, Colby, Evan, Ian and Gracie; great-grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews; and his constant companion, his dog, Max.

Private graveside services will be held 12 Noon Monday in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Damon Perry officiatin­g.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Lane Funeral Home, South Crest Chapel, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge.
