POWER RANKINGS

-

1. Notre Dame (8-0, 7-0 ACC): Notre Dame has two weeks to prepare for North Carolina's high-powered offense. The Fighting Irish are 8-0 for the fourth time since 2002.

2. Clemson (7-1, 6-1): Clemson will be shooting for a sixth consecutive win against Florida State and enters the game as a 33-point favorite.

3. Miami (7-1, 6-1): The Hurricanes survived at Virginia Tech by a single point despite being “on the verge” of not being able to play due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

4. North Carolina (6-2, 6-2): Quarterback Sam Howell had a personal field day against Wake Forest with a school-record 550 passing yards and six TDs.

5. N.C. State (5-3, 5-3): The Wolfpack faces unbeaten and No. 21 Liberty, which will be attempting to defeat an ACC opponent for a third time this season.

6. Virginia Tech (4-4, 4-3): The Heartbreak Hokies have lost two games in a row by a combined total of four points.

7. Wake Forest (4-3, 3-3): What will the Demon Deacons have left in the tank after blowing a 21-point, second-half lead against North Carolina last week?

8. Boston College (5-4, 4-4): The Eagles lost to Notre Dame, but did manage to put up 31 points – the second-most allowed by the Fighting Irish this season.

9. Pitt (4-4, 3-4): A COVID-19 outbreak forced postponement of Pitt's game at Georgia Tech, so the Panthers are hoping to be healthy enough to host Virginia Tech.

10. Virginia (3-4, 3-4): The Cavaliers are showing distinct signs of reviving their season. They've won two in a row against North Carolina and Louisville.

11. Louisville (2-6, 1-6): Odd to think that the Cardinals were picked to finish fourth in the ACC preseason poll.

12. Georgia Tech (2-5, 2-4): The Yellowjackets got a bye week when Miami, originally set to be today's opponent, was overwhelmed by COVID-19 cases.

13. Florida State (2-6, 1-6): Clemson has won five in a row against Florida State with an average victory margin of 32.3 points in their last three meetings.

14. Duke (2-6, 1-6): Saturday's game will not be played due to positive tests and quarantining at Wake. The Devils' next game is at Georgia Tech on Nov. 28..

15. Syracuse (1-7, 1-6): So, you're telling me there's a chance? Syracuse has a chance to escape the ACC's cellar with a win vs. a two-win Louisville team this week.
