The Southeastern Conference announced a revised Dec. 5 football schedule on Friday afternoon in a continuing effort for all 14 league members to get in all 10 games this season amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Next Saturday’s slate now includes Alabama’s game at LSU that was postponed from Nov. 14 and the Arkansas at Missouri contest that was scheduled to take place this weekend. In addition, the Dec. 5 schedule has Florida at Tennessee, South Carolina at Kentucky, Texas A&M at Auburn, and Vanderbilt at Georgia.

As a result of next week’s changes, three games will be rescheduled: Alabama at Arkansas, Ole Miss at LSU, and Missouri at Mississippi State.

“The cooperation and flexibility of our coaches, athletics directors and campus leaders, along with the dedication of our student- athletes, now provides the opportunity to reach this point in the season with the ability for each SEC team to play 10 football games in 2020,” league commissioner Greg Sankey said in a release. “We knew before the season there would be interruptions and scheduling challenges related to COVID19, and we will continue to manage the remaining weeks of the football schedule to allow for as many games to be played as possible, with a continuing focus on determining an SEC champion.”

CBS will televise the Alabama- LSU showdown at 8 p.m. Eastern, with television and kickoff times for the other Dec. 5 games expected to be revealed Sunday.
