› Why should voters choose you?

We have achieved great milestones for District 9 from direct investment in communitie­s, creation of over 4,000 jobs, reducing the digital divide, addressing families holistical­ly and more. Serving is sacred. My desire is to provide families with a positive, life-changing experience and remove barriers that prevent them from thriving.

› Biggest challenge facing the office you seek?

Determinan­ts of health.

› How will you address this challenge?

Public health must be a high priority. I will address all aspects of health and living conditions and continue to work with intersecti­onal partners and expand resources that enable people to develop their full potential.

› What policy position of yours might surprise people?

› What past or current public servant do you most admire?

Karitsa Mosley Jones and Kathryn Geter are two woman that I admire. Karitsa serves as the first Black woman on the Hamilton County Board of Education and Geter the second Black woman to serve on the Hamilton County Commission. They are bold, humble, inspiratio­nal, resilient and have grit.
