I’m not a politician; therefore I am my own man and will think outside the box to make great Chattanoog­a even greater.

The biggest challenge will be bringing diverse groups together to bring pragmatic and practical change to the community to benefit all.

› How will you address this challenge?

I will address this challenge by working across the aisle, enlisting experts and doing necessary research and compromisi­ng where needed.

› What policy position of yours might surprise people?

I am all for free public parking for our downtown public library, and that is high on my list of things to do.
