Five years after expanding into Tennessee with a Chattanooga location, an industrial supplier of fasteners has relocated its local operations and more than doubled its space.

Threaded Fasteners, Inc., (TFI) an employee-owned manufacturer and distributor of steel fasteners and custom packaging that started in 1979 in Mobile, Alabama, moved its Chattanooga branch at the end of January into a warehouse on Wisdom Street that is 60% bigger than its former location on Holtzclaw Avenue. Billy Duren, president of Threaded Fasteners, said the expanded retail area offers additional product lines, “making Chattanooga a one stop shop for all construction projects both large and small.

“The construction industry in Chattanooga has seen tremendous growth and we are blessed with the opportunity to continue to grow with Chattanooga,” he said.

TFI Chattanooga provides materials to manufacturers in the industrial, chemical, agriculture, road building, and electric utility industries.

“This move is a testament to the hard work of our team, this could not have happened without the dedication of our employee owners to go above and beyond to serve our community,” said Paul Collins, the Chattanooga branch manager who oversees the 9-employee staff at the local office and warehouse. “Our team is excited to be a small part of the tremendous infrastructure and construction growth we see happening in Chattanooga, this is our home, and we are grateful to be a part of its legacy.”

The company manufactures and sells tower and electric utility bolts, anchor bolts, A325 structural bolts, A394 tower bolts, nuts and washers. TFI maintains over $7 million worth of inventory across its 11 locations in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
