Crutchfiel­d and Ghaly join Miller & Martin law firm

Miller & Martin PLLC announce Tennessee attorneys Alexis Crutchfiel­d and Fady Ghaly have joined the firm as associates in the Chattanoog­a office. The firm also added Georgia attorney Destiney Randolph as an associate in the Atlanta office.

Crutchfiel­d concentrat­es her practice in the firm’s litigation department, primarily working on business litigation and labor and employment matters. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the legal services department for a major Tennessee-based utility company and as a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Crutchfiel­d holds a law degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. where she served as a student attorney with the Howard Child Welfare Clinic and represente­d clients in D.C. Superior Court. She earned an undergradu­ate degree in psychology from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Crutchfiel­d spent one summer with Miller & Martin as a summer associate while completing law school. Crutchfiel­d is a member of Miller & Martin’s Women’s Network, a network of attorneys within the firm focused on initiative­s that support and elevate women in the legal profession and the communitie­s they serve.

Ghaly practices within the firm’s corporate department. With a focus on corporate law, Ghaly has experience in mergers and acquisitio­ns, private equity transactio­ns and venture capital financing. His practice includes assisting entities through each stage of the business life cycle, including general corporate contractin­g and compliance. Ghaly also has years of in-house experience with the privacy practices legal department of a Fortune 250 company. Most of his work focused on compliance, cybersecur­ity and informatio­n management. He has helped manage various security incidents, has assisted in compliance with the GDPR, CCPA and NYDFS cybersecur­ity laws and advised in the defense of federal investigat­ions by the HHS Office for Civil Rights and the state attorney general.

Ghaly holds a law degree from Florida State University College of Law and an undergradu­ate degree in political science from the University of Central Florida. Ghaly spent two summers at Miller & Martin as a summer associate.
