HAMIltON COuNtY Glenda Burnette-Gadd

Glenda Janette “Jan” Burnette-Gadd, age 63, passed away on April 10,2021 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Jan was born in Chattanooga, TN on October 29, 1957. She lived in Dayton and Soddy-Daisy her whole life. She had worked at La-Z-Boy and various medical facilities. She was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church and loved the Lord greatly.

She loved her family and was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. Jan also had a heart and love for animals, especially cats. She was known for her knack at decorating and could sing like an angel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Aubry Burnette and Jeanette McClure and stepmother; Joyce Burnette; husband, Jeff Gadd; daughter, Karina Welch-Harris; sister, Laura Cranfill and brother Donnie Burnette.

Survivors include sons, Kevin Burnette (Heather) and Andy Hickman(Erica); grandchildren, Jacob and Charlee Burnette, Lacey Harris and Gavin Belle-Payne, Braiden and Aiden Hickman; sister, Carol Brown (Jeff) and brother Bill Burnette (Tammy).

Funeral Service will be Tuesday April 13, 2021 at 3PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Revis officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday April 12, 2021 from 6-8PM and also on Tuesday April 13, 2021 from 12-3PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Brayton Cemetery in Bledsoe County, TN.
