Text Request is Gold Stevie Award winner in American business

-

Text Request, a Chattanooga-based business texting platform, was named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the computer software category in the 19th Annual American Business Awards.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented virtually to winners during a live event on June 30.

More than 3,800 nominations — a record number — from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Virtual Event of the Year and App of the Year, among others.

Text Request was nominated in the Small Business-sized Computer Software category, and the award was announced the same week that Text Request was recognized by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as a “Best Place to Work” for the second consecutive year.

“I couldn’t be prouder of our team for winning this award for their work throughout one of the most turbulent years for businesses in American history. This is their award,” said Text Request CEO Brian Elrod. “Our staff is resilient, resourceful and always looking for ways to help our clients experience as many wins as possible with the software we’ve built. I am excited to leverage last year’s momentum for even more growth throughout 2021 and beyond.”
