Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will headline the Tivoli Theatre Foundation’s Annual Gala on Jan. 7, at the Tivoli Theatre.

Proceeds from the gala will go towards programming for the three theaters — the nonprofit foundation operates, promotes and preserves: the city-owned Tivoli, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium and the Walker Theatre.

“This is our annual fundraiser that makes it possible for us to bring quality entertainment to the community,” the foundation’s executive director, Nick Wilkinson, said in a phone interview.

He said he is especially looking forward to the show, which could be among the last in the Tivoli for several months as renovation work on it and the next door Tivoli Center is set to start in February or March.

VIP tickets will be on sale to the public starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday and will include a catered reception in the lobby before the concert, a private bar during the show, VIP concert seating, recognition on the event website and in the Tivoli lobby and a live auction featuring signature memorabilia and experiences.

Also, a portion of each VIP ticket will go to support the nonprofit Tivoli Theatre Foundation. Donations will go towards an annual Friends of Tivoli membership. General Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Since its founding in 2015, the Tivoli Theatre Foundation has helped the theaters see an increase in shows of more than 900% and it has invested more than $10 million back into venues.

The event will require all patrons to show proof of vaccination.
