TUNNEL HILL - Sally Marie Keaton, 73-years-old, passed away on October 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family, after her valiant fight with cancer in 2013, Sally’s battle resumed in 2021 with a reoccurren­ce of cancer. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through months of grueling chemothera­py. She fought a good fight, and she kept the faith. Sally found her happiness in her children, grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren and could win an award for rocking babies. She was born April 18th 1949 in Franklin Ohio and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years Larry Keaton; her parents Mary (Dewey) Miners; Harry (Anna Lee) Logsdon; Brothers John Logsdon (Connie), and Shawn Logsdon; Sisters Judy (David) Welch, Holly Hixon, Jennifer Cooper.

Survivors include sons Donnie (Jan) Keaton, Bruce (Kim) Keaton, Kevin (Rhonda) Keaton, Jason (Beth) Sullivan and daughters Karen (Chris) Clark, Rebecca Burke, Heather Rutherford; grandchild­ren Kristen (Taylor) Kernea, David (Jenna) Keaton, Joshua (Kelly) Keaton, Katie Keaton, Ethan Clark, Ryan Smith, Amber (Jason) Ridley, Tyler Brown, Dylan (Kayla) Lowe, Zack Keaton, Jacob Keaton, Noah Keaton, Megan Sullivan, Julian Ritchey, Kaleb Rutherford, and Keaton Rutherford; and several great grandchild­ren; brother Scott Logsdon, and sisters Harriet (Carl) Hipsher, Kim (Don) Guess, Shelly Cross and Anna Marie Asbury along with many other family members and dear friends including a very special friend of over 40 years Faye Marcus. The family would like to give a special Thank you to one of Sally’s caregivers, Shay Craig. Shay Thank you for your dedication to your work and your patients. Visitation will be held 12:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle with Pastor Justin Gazaway officiatin­g. The body will lie-instate from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Monday. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens. Arrangemen­ts are by Wilson Funeral Home WallisStew­art Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
