Cecil Eugene Elliott, 49, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday January 11 2023 at a local hospital.

Cecil is proceeded in death by his parents Cecil Elliott Sr and Connie Francis.

Left to cherish his wonderful memory are his sister Kim Elliott, his longtime friend Kenneth Shelton, his sister Lynn and Steve Bernier, his mama Elaine and Terry Wooten, his dedicated support staff Lawanna Tanner, Natasha Wright, Katilyn Summers, Shazmay French, Dorneata Johnson, and a host of friends Cecil came to love throughout the years.

A special thanks to John Woodall, RHA Health Services, and Allied Behavioral Services for the many years of love and support for Cecil.

Cecil never met a stranger along the way. The most admirable thing about Cecil is his ability to make the best out of every situation. Cecil loved big and always seen the good in each person and each situation he was faced with. Cecil loved to sing, dance, and made sure to watch his stories each day before doing anything. On any given day you could find Cecil listening and singing to a Kirk Franklin song or a Whitney Houston song. Cecil was a collector of books and in his younger years TV guides and newspapers. Above all else, Cecil loved his Jesus and was not ashamed to admit that to anyone he met or by wearing his cross necklace. Cecil’s favorite bible verse John 3:16 was a true testament to his love for Jesus. Cecil will be dearly missed by those that he loved and those that loved him.
