RINGGOLD - Margaret Anne Rush Wilson, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 16, 2023.

She was born in Chickamaug­a, Georgia on March 30, 1942 to Burl and Helen Rush of Cooper Heights, Walker County, Georgia. She graduated from Chattanoog­a Valley High School in 1960 as Salutatori­an. She was married to George (Bill) Wilson, her high school sweetheart for 60 years. After 6 years of Navy Life, they lived the next 40 years in Flintstone, Georgia, before moving to Ringgold (Boynton) Georgia.

She is survived by her loving husband, her children, Lorie Keith (Tracy), Stacy Wilson (Tonya), Gina Wilson; grandson, Brody Keith; siblings, Lamar Rush (Mary Ann) and Martha Pettigrew (Tom).

As a teen, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Chattanoog­a Valley Presbyteri­an Church for many years, serving in a variety of ways with a sincere love of God.

Her greatest joy was her husband, children and grandson.

The family dearly appreciate­s the care that Cassandra and Treasure with Hearth Hospice gave her and the Family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to the Alzheimer’s Associatio­n, McKamey Animal Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Chaplain Bobby Fleck and Rev. Michael “Mickey” Morton.
