Glen Rievley

Mr. Glen Allen Rievley, 92, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. Glen was born in Sale Creek, TN on December 6, 1930 and moved to Chattanooga in 1974. He was a US Air Force veteran and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a supervisor with Dupont. He was a member of Red Bank Church of Christ. Glen was a member of Masonic Lodge # 512 F& AM in Dayton, TN and the Alhambra Shrine.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Emma (Rogers) Rievley; his wife, Annie Olivia “Libby” Rievley; siblings, Ivan Rievley, Helen Rievley, Imogene Smith, Kate Pendergrass, Byrd Rievley, and Suel Rievley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Mark Rievley (Juanita); stepson, Danny Kitchings (Donna); Step grandson, Caleb Kitchings (Heather); step great grandchildren, Landon and Audrey Kitchings; sister-in-law, Lillian Botos; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.

A Celebration of Glen’s life will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Steve Lusk officiating. Glen will be interred alongside Libby privately in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/giving or the charity of your choice in Glen’s name.
