Mr. Glen Allen Rievley, 92, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. Glen was born in Sale Creek, TN on December 6, 1930 and moved to Chattanoog­a in 1974. He was a US Air Force veteran and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a supervisor with Dupont. He was a member of Red Bank Church of Christ. Glen was a member of Masonic Lodge # 512 F& AM in Dayton, TN and the Alhambra Shrine.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Emma (Rogers) Rievley; his wife, Annie Olivia “Libby” Rievley; siblings, Ivan Rievley, Helen Rievley, Imogene Smith, Kate Pendergras­s, Byrd Rievley, and Suel Rievley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Mark Rievley (Juanita); stepson, Danny Kitchings (Donna); Step grandson, Caleb Kitchings (Heather); step great grandchild­ren, Landon and Audrey Kitchings; sister-in-law, Lillian Botos; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 21st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Chattanoog­a Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.

A Celebratio­n of Glen’s life will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Steve Lusk officiatin­g. Glen will be interred alongside Libby privately in Chattanoog­a National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributi­ons be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital https://www.shrinersch­ildrens.org/giving or the charity of your choice in Glen’s name.
