Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation gives $11,000 to Chattanooga Area Food Bank

-

The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation recently announced a $10,000 award to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, solidifying its commitment to bringing the simple joys of childhood to children battling hunger or illness.

With this grant, the Chattanooga Area Food Bank will be able to provide groceries for 30,000 meals in the area for those in need. Additionally, the foundation donated $1,000 to the food bank to help provide Halloween costumes for 100 kids in the Chattanooga area.

Grants from the foundation across the country help fuel a variety of programs for children battling hunger, including weekend backpack programs, mobile and school pantry programs, and after-school meals so children have access to food outside of school.

Since its inception in 2006, the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $45 million to national and local nonprofits.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide grants to amazing nonprofits that share the same vision of the Joy in Childhood

Foundation’s goal of bringing joy to kids where they need it most,” said Dave Baumgartner, local Dunkin’ franchisee. “Dunkin’ franchisees are committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and it is an honor to be able to support the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and enhance their programs to make children’s days a little brighter.”

a good try, Chuck. You got 10 votes. Better luck next time.

it takes an act of Congress to enact an act of Congress.

Riverbend next year is the only bad thing to happen in 2024 (and not Trump getting elected).

IT APPEARS DONALD

Trump is trying to supplant Don Rickles as the King of Insults. How noble. Melania must be proud.
