Paulette Cagle

Paulette Cagle, 71, died on Sunday, January 28th, 2024.

She was born on, November 16th, 1952 , to the late Grady and Kathryn Cagle. The love of her life, Dr. Sam Gill, nephews Justin Massingill and Brett Steagall preceded her in death.

She was a 1970 graduate of Hixson High School, and was a retired Dental Assistant. Dental assisting was something she was passionate about and something she got to do for many years alongside her soulmate.

Paulette enjoyed outings with her family, being on the river boating, and Tennessee football.

She is survived by her sisters Vickie Cain, Neice Lauren Cain, Connie Massingill, Neice Rachel Massingill, and Kim Steagall. Sam Gill’s children; Taylor Gill, Amy Martin (Calder), and Curt Gill; grandchildren, Samuel (Haley), Tucker, Calder, Willa, Davis, Curtis, and Louisa; greatgrandchildren, Ellie and Tripp; along with other family members.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, February 9th at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy. Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. on Friday with services to follow. A celebration of Life will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9th (location to be announced).
