Markle praises Prince Harry during the first stop on their tour of Nigeria

- BY JAMI GANZ

Meghan Markle was showing off hubby Prince Harry on their first stop of their Nigeria tour — on the heels of him getting snubbed by King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Sussexes spoke Friday at the GEANCO Foundation’s mental health summit, with the “Suits” alum, 42, praising her husband’s “inspiring” words, People reports.

“You see why I’m married to him?” Markle said at the event, held at the Lightway Academy in Abuja.

Markle expressed her pride in the royal on the heels of his family skipping Wednesday’s Service of Thanksgiving to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Harry’s Invictus Games — the sporting event he founded to help rehabilitate wounded or sick veterans and active service members.

Though the king, Prince William and the Princess of Wales all turned down the event, Harry reportedly invited the entire trio to the milestone celebration.

The decision to skip the event comes as Charles and Kate undergo cancer treatment, having each announced their diagnoses in recent months.

News that Harry invited his family — from whom he’s been estranged since he and Markle decamped to the U.S. after stepping back from royal duties in early 2020 — followed his reps announcing he and Charles would not see one another during Harry’s trip to Britain, citing the king’s busy schedule.

“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon,” the reps said in a statement.
