Boy shot at corner

A boy was shot Friday evening in the Little Village neighborho­od on the Southwest Side. The boy, whose age was not immediatel­y known, was standing about 7: 40 p. m. on the corner of South Rockwell andWest 24th Place when someone in a dark- colored SUV fired shots, striking the boy in the upper left arm, according to police. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. A police source said the shooting might be gangrelate­d. — Sun- Times Wire
