La Stella sidelined

Tommy La Stella, who missed most of last season with an oblique injury, left the game against the Royals because of soreness in his right calf after one inning. La Stella, considered an important lefty bat off the bench, was not involved in a play at third base and didn’t bat before leaving. He’s day- to- day.
