He sandwiched a birdie around two bogeys at the end to keep his distance over Emiliano Grillo and Rickie Fowler, who each shot 69. RyanMoore ( 68) was three shots behind, while defending champion Jason Day ( 70) and Jordan Spieth ( 67) were four back.
