2 Lincoln Pk. pedestrians twice hit by hit- run driver

-

A hit- and- run driver struck two pedestrians as they walked in Lincoln Park a little past 8 p. m. Friday.

The two women — ages 24 and 34 — were walking in the street, headed west in the 1800 block of North Clybourn Avenue when a black Acura sedan hit them, then made a U- turn and hit them both again, according to the police, who said the car was found but that no one had been arrested.

They said the younger woman had a broken hip and other injuries described as life- threatening and that she was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The 34- year- old was taken there in serious condition with head injuries, police said.
