Bruins’ Bergeron ready to return

Scoring leader Patrice Bergeron is expected to return for the Bruins’ home opener Thursday night.

Bergeron, an alternate captain and a three- time 30- goal scorer, practiced with the Bruins on Wednesday for the first time since he suffered a lower- body injury near the end of practice Oct. 12.
