A SPIRIT UNSINKABLE

-

Seventy- five years ago Wednesday, Japan attacked the U. S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, bringing the U. S. into World War II. Today, the USS Arizona Memorial sits over the submerged wreckage of the ship. Inset, the partially exposed wreckage of the USS Utah lies off the shore of Ford Island, where a memorial honors the 64 officers and sailors killed when she was struck by two Japanese torpedoes and capsized.
