3 shot at bowling alley

Three people were in custody after three people were shot early Sunday at a bowling alley in south suburban Richton Park.

Officers responded about 1: 30 a. m. to a call of shots fired at Lakewood Bowl, 5125 Sauk Trail, where they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Richton Park police.

A third victim drove himself to the hospital, police said. Two of the victims were treated and released, and the other was hospitaliz­ed in critical condition.

Three people, two adults and one juvenile, were taken into custody, police said.

Illinois State Police were investigat­ing a report of shots fired Sunday morning on the Dan Ryan Expy.

Police received multiple calls of shots fired on the Dan Ryan between 83rd and 95th streets about 11: 50 a. m., according to State Police.

Investigat­ors were searching for shell casings, police said. No victims or property damage had been found.

Jordan Owen 3 hurt in Austin fire

Three people suffered minor injuries in an extraalarm fire Sunday morning in theWest Side Austin neighborho­od.

Crews responded at 7: 12 a. m. to the two- story building at Cicero and Huron, according to Fire Media Affairs. The alarm was upgraded to a 2- 11 at 7: 36 a. m.

Three people were taken with minor injuries toWest Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, according to Fire Media. The blaze was extinguish­ed by 9 a. m. About 12 people were displaced, according to Fire Media.

A man was shot and critically wounded early Sunday on the North Side.

Officers responding about 1: 40 a. m. to a call of a person shot found the 21- year- old lying in an alley in the 5600 block of NorthWeste­rn, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the head and taken in critical condition to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, police said.

Ashlee Rezin Man fatally struck by car

A man was fatally struck by a car early Sunday in the Garfield Ridge neighborho­od on the Southwest Side.

About 1: 40 a. m., the 66- year- old man was struck by a Nissan Altima going south in the 5200 block of South Cicero, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the Nissan, a 55- year- old man, stayed at the scene and told investigat­ors he was unable to avoid the crash because the man jumped into the street, police said. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
