Age 79, of Lockport, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Chicago, living in Chicago before moving to Lockport in 2008. He retired from the Chicago Police Department after 33 years of service and was a member of the FOP Lodge # 7. Tim’s passion was drawing cartoons of his family and friends, was a crossword puzzle enthusiast, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, was a wonderful dreamer and loved people, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially is grandchild­ren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Timothy P. and Mary Ellen ( O’Hara) Twohill. Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Patricia ( Noel) Twohill; his children, Jean Sanders, Tim ( LaVina) Twohill, Robin ( John Catemis) Stott, Kelly ( Yvonne) Stott; grandchild­ren, Zachary and Tyler Robins, Alyssa Catemis, Zoey and Riley Stott; a great- grandson, Bentley Robins; and a brother, Michael ( Carol) Twohill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be used according to their wishes, would be appreciate­d.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10: 00 a. m. in the O’NEIL FUNERAL HOME

CHAPEL, 1105 E 9th St. ( 159th St.), Lockport, IL with Pastor Jim Nichols officiatin­g.

Visitation Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 3: 00 p. m. to 8: 00 p. m. Following services, cremation rites will be respectful­ly addressed.
