A 34- year- old Lansing man is charged with fatally shooting the driver of a semitrailer Friday afternoon on the Reagan Memorial Tollway near west Suburban Oak Brook.
Anthony Tillmon faces a felony charge of first- degree murder, Illinois State Police announced on Tuesday.
Eduardo Munoz, 43, of Sunrise, Florida, was shot about 4 p. m. while he drove east on Interstate 88 in a 2007 Volvo semitrailer, State Police said.
After he was wounded, Munoz was able to pull over to the right shoulder near milepost 138.5 between 22nd Street and York Road, where he was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and later died, police said.
Tillmon was identified as the shooter following an investigation, police said. He was taken into custody and is being held at the DuPage County Jail, where he awaits an expected bond hearing on Wednesday.
The investigation indicated the shooting was related to road rage, police said. There were no apparent ties between the two men.

Man fatally shot in Rogers Park
A man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.
Witnesses said the 20- year- old man was being chased by another male in the 1400 block of West Jonquil Terrace about 7 a. m. when shots rang out, according to Chicago Police.
The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was a documented gang member.
At 8: 07 a. m., Evanston police were checking Calvary Cemetery for a man with a gun, a report that originated in Chicago, according to the department’s Twitter account. The cemetery, about half a mile from the shooting scene, reopened about an hour later after the search was completed.

Police: Man found dead in Little Village alley
A man was found dead Tuesday morning in an alley in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side, according to Chicago Police.
The man, thought to be between 30 and 40, was found unresponsive in an alley in the 2600 block of South Ridgeway at 7: 27 a. m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Firefighter hurt in Lincoln Park fire
A firefighter was injured battling a blaze that spread to three buildings early Tuesday in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The fire started at 2: 31 a. m. in a four- story building in the 400 block of West St. James Place, according to Fire Media Affairs. It spread to two adjacent buildings but was put out by 3: 39 a. m.
The firefighter was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition to be treated for exhaustion, fire officials said. The cause of the fire was being investigated.
