Ohio State hires Holtmann

Ohio State hired Butler coach Chris Holtmann to be its basketball coach. Holtmann, the reigning Big East coach of the year, will be paid about $ 3 million a year under an eight- year deal. Utah football coach Kyle Whittingha­m signed an extension to keep him with the Utes through 2021.
