Only a sprain for Garrett

-

The Browns finally caught a break. Top pick Myles Garrett only has a sprained foot.

After fearing the defensive end might be out for a significant period, the Browns said that Garrett has a lateral sprain in his left foot but that he’s expected to be ready for training camp next month.

Garrett was injured Wednesday late in practice, going down without any contact. Garrett’s reaction — he put his hands to his head, grabbed his foot in pain — as well as his frustration seemed to indicate a serious injury.

He’s in a walking boot and will receive treatment before the Browns open training camp July 27.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said that the Wolverines will visit London, Paris and Normandy, France, for next year’s offseason trip. The Wolverines went to Rome this offseason.

Harbaugh also said he wants to have Barack and Michelle Obama as honorary captains for a game this coming season.
