Age 69, passed away quietly at home on June 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Hedy Nutini. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sally ( Palmisano); sisters, Poppy ( Nutini) Heinz and Lynn ( Nutini) Finn, and brothers, Louis and Paul. He was a devoted uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and a dedicated volunteer at Villa Scalabrini.

His 45 year involvemen­t with the finest of Chicago Architectu­re is visible throughout Chicago and endures in great architectu­ral structures and landmarks within Chicago and the greater Metropolit­an area.

Peter’s interests varied, astronomy, hiking, philosophy, teaching constructi­on management at Triton College. His lifelong passion for music was multidimen­sional: playing guitar, attending music classes at Elmhurst College and serving on the Board of the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra.

On September 8, 2017, a memorial mass will be held at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 South York Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126. The mass will begin at 9: 00 a. m. On September 9, 2017, a Musical Tribute of Gratitude will be held at Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181. The tribute is open to family and friends beginning at 10: 30 a. m. and concludes at 3: 00 p. m.

On Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3: 00 p. m., the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra will dedicate their concert to Peter’s memory. Performanc­e at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 155 West Brush Hill Road, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Visit elmhurstsy­mphony.org for program and ticket informatio­n.
