Of Chicago, IL, longtime resident of Superior and Wolcott Street, West town neighborho­od, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Skokie Hospital in Skokie, IL. Antonia began her journey of life on March 12, 1929 and was the beloved and devoted daughter and sister to the late Tedulo and Elodia Medina, her siblings were the late Celso, Raymond, John, Elodia and Tedulo. She had a passion for cooking for family and friends, enjoyed swapping recipes, a love of reading, crocheting and helping others. She knew no stranger and was a friend to all. She was devoted to her faith; attended St. Therese Church in Parkville, MO, and when she lived in Chicago attended St. Boniface as well as St. Francis of Assisi Churches. She was a devoted and much loved wife of 65 years to Raul Flores; a loving mother to Antonia Kreicbergs ( Alex), Joseph Calva ( Laura), Christina Bochenek ( Richard), Maria Flores, Raul Flores Jr. ( Nancy), the late Guadalupe Flores, Juan Flores ( Ana), Margarita Rodriguez ( Anthony), and David Flores ( Santa). She raised her niece, Theresa Medina. She was a loving grandmothe­r and great- grandmothe­r to Robert, James, John, Mildred, Joseph, Allyson, Marc, Adrienne, Tanya, Anthony Jr., Rebecca, Matthew, Magdalena, David, Jonathan, Kaelyn, Carly, Anna, Lexi, Andrew, Gracie, Ruben, Andy, Xavier, Jezebel, Jaydah, Mikaela, the late Ella, Ava, Evan, Izabel, and Liam. A service to celebrate her life will be Thursday 4: 00- 9: 00 p. m. on September 14 at Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734 W. Diversey Chicago, IL. Friday 10: 30 a. m. mass at St. Cyprain, 2561 Clinton St., River Grove. Interment Mt. Carmel, Hillside, IL.
