Age 75, U. S. Army Veteran, passed away September 7, 2017.

John is survived by his cherished companion, Ruth Sorgenfrei; his loving nieces, Michelle and Cathy Cozza and his sister- in- law, Joan Cozza. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie ( nee Mihalkanin) and Frank "Cheech" Cozza and his brother, Frank Cozza. Funeral Thursday, 8: 45 a. m. from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral

Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church, Oak Lawn, for Mass at 9: 30 a. m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 3: 00 p. m. until 8: 00 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mercy Home appreciated.
