Sixers trying to trade Okafor

The Sixers will not exercise the fourth- year, $ 6.3 million option for center Jahlil Okafor.

Unless the 76ers are able to trade him, Okafor will become an unrestrict­ed free agent in 2018. The Sixers were working to deal the former Young star because he had fallen out of the rotation. The frontcourt logjam of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric leaves Okafor expendable.

Paul George scored 20 points, and the Thunder dominated the paint during a 16- 0 run to take control early in a 110- 91 win over the host Bucks. Russell Westbrook had 12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Carmelo Anthony scored eight of his 17 points in the pivotal first quarter.
