Christine Dohm ( nee Linne), Registered Nurse. Born August 25, 1917, late of Brownsvill­e, TX and Matteson, IL, and former longtime resident of Oak Lawn, IL, died at age 100 on November 1, 2017 in Bridgeview, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John P. ( deceased 1992) and is survived by ten loving children, Dennis ( Margaret), Holly Al- Dahir ( late Abdul), Linne Lindquist ( John), David ( Sharon), Mark ( Barbara), Kathleen Joassin ( Dr. Guy), Dolores ( Dr. Patrick Schuette), Paul ( Karen), Mary Wurtzebach ( Bart) and Pamela ( ex Hoogenakke­r). She is survived also by her 32 grandchild­ren; 21 great- grandchild­ren; her niece and Godchild, Barbara ( nee Linne) Dawless ( late Stan) of Danville, IL; nieces, Carol Anne ( nee Linne) Mossholder and Lisa ( nee Linne) Hutto; and nephew, Steve ( Anna) Linne; many great and great- great- nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Katherine ( nee Walz) Linne; and her brothers and sisters, Esther, George, Oscar ( late Blanche), Edgar ( late Mabel), Willis ( late Violet, ex Ina), Julia Lutes ( late Wallace), and Mildred.

Christine was a late and devoted convert to Catholicis­m and had been an active parishione­r at St. George Church in Tinley Park, IL. She had been an active member of the League of Women Voters and Worth Township Democratic Party when residing in Oak Lawn.

A Mass memorializ­ing Christine’s life will be celebrated later. No other funeral services will be held.

Her family is thankful to the staff of Moraine Court Supportive Living Facility ( Bridgeview, IL) for the loving care provided to Christine and to the residents there for their thoughtful­ness and kindness shown to Christine for nearly three years.
