Trump administration unleashes more sanctions on Venezuela

The Trump administration targeted 10 current or former Venezuelan officials with sanctions Thursday, accusing them of a campaign to undermine elections, censor the media and engage in corrupt activities.

The sanctions are aimed at the regime of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, which the U. S. calls a dictatorship.
