82- year- oldwoman dies infire

A woman died in a fire Sunday in her North Lawndale neighborhood home on theWest Side.

Crews responded at 2: 35 p. m. to the blaze on the second floor of a home in the 1500 block of South Central Park, according to Fire Media Affairs. During the primary search, Dorsey L. Calhoun, 82, was found and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, according to FireMedia. Calhoun was pronounced dead less than half an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
