Miami rallies, keeps streak intact

Malik Rosier threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score, and No. 3 Miami pulled off its biggest comeback in five years by holding off visiting Virginia 44- 28 to extend the nation’s longest winning streak to 15 games.

Jaquan Johnson had an intercepti­on return for a touchdown for Miami ( 10- 0, 7- 0 Atlantic Coast Conference), which went on a 30- 0 run in the second half to remain unbeaten.

The Hurricanes, who erased a pair of 14- point deficits, got a pair of fourth- down stops in Virginia territory in the fourth quarter.

Travis Homer rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown for Miami, which looks to close out a perfect ACC regular- season slate at Pittsburgh on Friday. The Hurricanes already had a spot in the ACC championsh­ip game against Clemson on Dec. 2 secured.

Kurt Benkert was 28- for- 37 for 384 yards and four touchdowns for Virginia ( 6- 5, 3- 4).

Kansas State 45, No. 13 Oklahoma State 40

Byron Pringle caught three touchdown passes and returned a kickoff for another score to help the Wildcats stun the host Cowboys.

Oklahoma State nearly erased a 29- point deficit in the second half, but Kansas State ( 6- 5, 4- 4 Big 12) held on to become bowl- eligible for the eighth consecutiv­e season.

Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph passed for 425 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score. James Washington caught eight passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns for the Cowboys ( 8- 3, 5- 3).

No. 4 Oklahoma 41, Kansas 3

Quarterbac­k Baker Mayfield threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns for the visiting Sooners.

Mayfield had tried shaking hands with the Jayhawks captains after the coin toss, but they stared stoically back at him. Mayfield quickly pulled his hand away and clapped a couple of times. Later, he lewdly grabbed his crotch while cursing across the field. Another time, he yelled to fans behind his bench, “You have one win! Go cheer on basketball!”

The Sooners ( 10- 1, 7- 1 Big 12) clinched a spot in the revived Big 12 title game. The Jayhawks ( 1- 10, 0- 8) have yet to beat a Football Bowl Subdivisio­n foe.

No. 11 USC 28, UCLA 23

Sam Darnold passed for 264 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score, and the host Trojans persevered for their fourth consecutiv­e victory over their crosstown rival.

Ronald Jones II rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and Michael Pittman Jr. returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown on a spectacula­r trick play in the regularsea­son finale for the Pac- 12 South champion Trojans ( 10- 2, 8- 1).

Josh Rosen passed for 421 yards and hit Jordan Lasley for three touchdowns for UCLA ( 5- 6, 3- 5).
