JUSTIN HALL

Running back, Homewood- Flossmoor Sr., 5- 9, 180 pounds Northern Illinois recruit rushed for 1,788 yards, averaging 8.7 yards per carry, and had 530 yards receiving. Scored 30 touchdowns.

CRAIG ELMORE

Running back, Phillips Sr., 5- 9, 215 pounds Player of the Year candidate was a game- changer at running back and linebacker. Rushed for 1,814 yards and 22 touchdowns.

TORI CLINTON

Running back, St. Laurence Sr., 5- 8, 170 pounds Ran for 2,800 yards, averaging 10.2 yards per carry, and 30 touchdowns. Led the Vikings to Class 6A quarterfin­als.

JAYDEN REED

Wide receiver, Naperville Central Sr., 6- 0, 170 pounds Electric athlete had 1,179 receiving yards and averaged 20 yards per catch. Western Michigan recruit scored 18 touchdowns playing receiver, running back and special teams.

MICAH JONES

Wide receiver, Warren Sr., 6- 4, 175 pounds Notre Dame recruit had 53 receptions for 710 yards and 12 touchdowns. Helped the Blue Devils advance to the second round of the Class 8A playoffs.

JEFF JENKINS

Offensive lineman, Prairie Ridge Sr., 6- 4, 275 pounds Anchored an offensive line that has led the Wolves to a 27- game winning streak. Helped the offense run for 3,513 yards and average 47 points.

CHARLIE GROSS

Offensive lineman, Loyola Sr., 6- 5, 280 pounds Led an offensive line that paved the way for 2,575 yards rushing and 2,135 yards passing yards this season.

JEREMY COOPER

Offensive lineman, Mount Carmel Sr., 6- 3, 295 pounds Big, strong- bodied lineman was a key to the Caravan averaging 30 points. Cincinnati recruit was an All- Catholic League Blue selection.

PETER SKORONSKI

Offensive lineman, Maine South So., 6- 4, 250 pounds His size, speed and mean streak make him one of the best linemen in the area. Led unit that helped offense gain

WYATT BLAKE

Offensive lineman, Crystal Lake Central Sr., 6- 4, 300 pounds Northweste­rn recruit has high football IQ and great footwork. Helped Tigers average 28 points.

GAVIN MCCABE

Defensive lineman, Marist Sr., 6- 3, 250 pounds Made 78 tackles, including 13 for loss. East Suburban Catholic’s defensive co- MVP also had five sacks and a forced fumble.

DEVIN O’ROURKE

Defensive lineman, Lincoln- Way East Sr., 6- 6, 240 pounds Long- limbed and quick, he had 11 sacks and 23 tackles for a defensive line that was one of the best units in the area.

JALEN SLATER

Defensive lineman, Montini Sr., 6- 1, 245 pounds Helped the Broncos reach the playoffs with his big individual numbers. Had 91 tackles, including 16 for loss, and nine sacks.

TERRANCE TAYLOR

Defensive lineman/ linebacker, Phillips Sr., 6- 4, 215 pounds A game- changer. Toledo recruit is athletic and quick to the ball. Led the Wildcats’ dominant defense with 25 sacks.

JACK SANBORN

Linebacker, Lake Zurich Sr., 6- 2, 210 pounds The school’s all- time leader in tackles. Wisconsin recruit had 100 tackles for a defense that allowed an average of nine points per game. Butkus Award finalist.

WESLEY LONES

Linebacker, Nazareth Sr., 6- 2, 205 pounds A big factor in the Roadrunner­s’ run to the Class 6A title game. Responsibl­e for 95 tackles in 10 games. Had 12 tackles for loss, one sack and three forced fumbles.

JOSEPH BONDS

Linebacker, De La Salle Sr., 6- 3, 220 pounds Northern Illinois recruit had 80 tackles, including 15 for loss, and eight sacks. Was Catholic League Green defensive player of the year.

MICHAEL NIEMIEC

Defensive back, Batavia Sr., 6- 1, 180 pounds Helped Bulldogs reach Class 7A title game with 107 tackles, including eight for loss, and two intercepti­ons. Led defense that allowed only six points per game.

ROMEL GOSTON

Defensive back, Raby Jr., 6- 1, 170 pounds Instrument­al when the Raiders needed a big play. Finished with 54 tackles, five intercepti­ons and two sacks.

GIAVION MASON

Defensive back, Bishop McNamara Sr., 6- 2, 205 pounds Three- year starter played both ways. Illinois State recruit averaged six tackles per game in his career and scored four touchdowns this season.

CONNOR REID

Defensive back, Benet Sr., 6- 1, 205 pounds Great athlete led the surprising­ly good Redwings to the Class 7A semifinals with 77 tackles and nine intercepti­ons.

GAVIN MOTTL

Kicker/ punter, St. Rita Jr., 5- 11, 175 pounds Great weapon for the Class 7A quarterfin­alists. Made nearly all of his extra- point attempts and converted a season- long 42- yard field goal.

SAMSON EVANS

Prairie Ridge Sr., 6- 0, 200 pounds The Sun- Times Player of the Year racked up 6,140 rushing yards in his career. Rushed 225 times for 1,957 yards and accounted for 44 touchdowns this season.
