Big Ben, Brown beat Pack

-

Chris Boswell kicked a careerlong 53- yard field goal as time expired to give the Steelers a 31- 28 victory over the visiting Packers on Sunday night.

The Steelers ( 9- 2) won their sixth consecutive game thanks in large part to wide receiver Antonio Brown. He caught 10 passes for 169 yards and two scores and made a pair of catches on the deciding drive, including a 23- yard grab on the sideline that put the Steelers into Packers territory.

Brown added a 14- yard reception on the next play. Two snaps later, Boswell drilled the winner.

Ben Roethliberger threw for 351 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Le’Veon Bell ran for 95 yards and added 88 yards receiving.

Brett Hundley completed 17 of 26 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns for the Packers ( 5- 6) in his best start since taking over for the injured Aaron Rodgers. Jamaal Williams ran for 66 yards, including a four- yard leap into the end zone with 2: 02 left that tied it at 28.

The teams traded punts before the Steelers took over at their 30- yard line with 17 seconds left. Itwas just enough time for Roethlisberger and Brown to push the Steelers within the fringe of Boswell’s range.

Seahawks 24, 49ers 13

Russell Wilson threw for two touchdowns to give him 150 career touchdown passes, and he ran for a short score to lead the visiting Seahawks ( 7- 4).

Wilson connected on a 17yard touchdown pass to Nick Vannett in the third quarter and a one- yarder early in the fourth to Jimmy Graham, whose 16 touchdown receptions passed Jerramy Stevens for most by a Seahawks tight end.

Jimmy Garoppolo made his debut for the 49ers ( 1- 10) with 1: 07 left in the game after starting quarterback C. J. Beathard suffered a left leg injury on a hit by Michael Bennett. Garoppolo, acquired from the Patriots at the trade deadline last month, immediately scrambled to gain four yards and found Louis Murphy for a 10- yard touchdown as time expired.

“There’s never an easy situation to go into,” Garoppolo said. “Being the backup, I’ve experienced both ends of it. But you always have to be ready.”

Beathard will undergo an MRI exam Monday and said both his left knee and hip were ailing. There was no immediate word whether Beathard or Garoppolo would start next Sunday against the Bears.

Patriots 35, Dolphins 17

TomBrady tossed four touchdown passes, including two to Rob Gronkowski, to lift the host Patriots.

New England ( 9- 2) posted its seventh consecutive victory and third straight win over Miami. The Dolphins ( 4- 7) have lost five consecutive games for their longest slide since 2011.

It was Brady’s 28th career game with four or more touchdown passes, ranking third alltime. His 26 touchdown passes are the most in a season after turning 40 years old.

The Dolphins played without quarterback Jay Cutler, who practiced Friday but remained in the concussion protocol. Matt Moore ( 23- for- 34, 215 yards, two interceptions) struggled in his second start of the season.

Falcons 34, Buccaneers 20

Julio Jones had 12 receptions for 253 yards and two touchdowns, including a 51- yarder from fellow receiver Mohamed Sanu, and the Falcons ( 7- 4) beat the Buccaneers ( 4- 7) for their third straight win.
