-

Javorius Allen ran for a 10- yard touchdown and Alex Collins for an eight- yard touchdown during a 17- point second quarter that carried the Ravens to a 23- 16 victory against the visiting Texans on ‘‘ Monday Night Football.’’

The Ravens ( 6- 5) forced three turnovers — two interceptions and a fumble — on their way to moving above .500 for the first time since Oct. 8. They are tied with the Bills for the second and last AFC wild- card spot.

The Texans ( 4- 7) got their only touchdown on a four- yard run by Lamar Miller in the first quarter and lost for the fourth time in their last five games. They are 1- 3 since Tom Savage replaced injured Deshaun Watson at quarterback.

The Ravens’ Justin Tucker and the Texans’ Ka’imi Fairbairn made three field goals apiece.

49erswait onQB decision

Niners coach Kyle Shanahan said he wasn’t ready to name a starter between quarterbacks C. J. Beathard and Jimmy Garoppolo. He said he will decide byWednesday.

Shanahan said he is waiting to see howBeathard recovers from a strained hip and bruised knee that forced him out with 1: 07 left in the game Sunday against the Seahawks.

Garoppolo, who started two games in place of suspended Tom Brady for the Patriots last season, replaced Beathard and threw a touchdown pass on the final play. He might make his first start for the 49ers on Sunday against the Bears.

Broncos switching QBs again

Broncos coach Vance Joseph said quarterback Paxton Lynch will miss two to four weeks with a high sprain of his right ankle suffered in the second half Sunday against the Raiders.

Joseph said the Broncos will turn again to Trevor Siemian when they face the Dolphins on Sunday. Siemian started the Broncos’ first seven games and went 3- 4 before being replaced by Brock Osweiler. Lynch made his first career start against the Raiders after Osweiler went 0- 3.

Crabtree, Talib suspended for fight

The NFL suspended Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree and Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib for two games each without pay for fighting during the first quarter Sunday. Both players can appeal the suspensions.

The fight was a continuation of a dispute that started last season, when Talib ripped Crabtree’s chain off during the season finale.

Injury report

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said safety Kam Chancellor will miss the rest of the season because of a neck injury he suffered this month, but he wouldn’t speculate about his future. All Carrollwould say is that Chancellor doesn’t need surgery and that whether he plays again is up to him.

The Patriots put former Bears tight end Martellus Bennett, whom they claimed off waivers from the Packers less than three weeks ago, on season- ending injured reserve with hamstring and shoulder injuries.

The Bills confirmed receiver Kelvin Benjamin has torn cartilage in his rightkneeaftercoachSeanMcDermott denied it earlier in the day.
