Wesley Person Jr. scored 27 points, including five threepoint­ers, and Troy roared out to a 19- point halftime lead on its way to coasting to an 87- 66 victory Wednesday against UIC in Troy, Alabama.

B. J. Miller added 12 points and Javan Johnson 10 for the Trojans ( 5- 3), who shot 48.3 percent overall and 51.9 percent from three- point range to overcome 17 turnovers. They were 14- for- 27 from behind the arc.

Dominique Matthews scored 14 points, Marcus Ottey 11 and Jordan Blount 10 for the Flames ( 2- 4), who shot only 38.3 percent and committed a whopping 21 turnovers.

Duke 91, Indiana 81

Marvin Bagley III scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Grayson Allen added 21 points and the No. 1 Blue Devils ( 9- 0) fought off a tougher- than- expected battle from the Hoosiers ( 4- 3) in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge in Bloomingto­n, Indiana.

Duke, which also got 18 points and 12 rebounds from Wendell Carter Jr., trailed 73- 69 with 6 ½ minutes left before taking control with a 17- 4 spurt in the next four minutes.

Robert Johnson scored 17 points and De’Ron Davis 16 for Indiana, which had its three- game winning streak snapped.

Miami 86, Minnesota 81

Dewan Huell led five players in double figures with 23 points, Bruce Brown Jr. added 16 points and nine rebounds and the No. 10 Hurricanes ( 6- 0) shot 56 percent in the second half to slip past the Golden Gophers ( 7- 1) in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge in Minneapoli­s.

Amir Coffey had 23 points and Jordan Murphy 17 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota, which put all five starters in double figures but got no points from its bench.

North Carolina 86, Michigan 71

Luke Maye scored 27 points, and the No. 13 Tar Heels ( 6- 1) shot 55 percent en route to walloping the Wolverines ( 6- 2) in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Joel Berry II added 17 points on a bounce- back offensive night for North Carolina, which shot 24.6 percent in a 63- 45 loss Sunday to No. 3 Michigan State.

Mo Wagner scored 20 points to lead the Wolverines.

Marquette 95, Chicago State 69

Markus Howard broke his own school record with 11 three- pointers on his way to 33 points, and Andrew Rowsey made six threepoint­ers and added 26 to fuel the Golden Eagles ( 5- 2) to a rout of the Cougars ( 2- 8) in Milwaukee. Fred Sims Jr. led Chicago State with 20 points.
