Lee Bey

is the Toenniges Professor of History at North Central College in Naperville. She is co- editor of the “Encycloped­ia of Chicago” and several books, including “Rising Up From Indian Country: The Battle of Fort Dearborn and the Birth of Chicago.”

Richard Lindberg

a former Chicago alderman, is a political science professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the author or co- author of more than 20 books.
