A longtime resident of Carillon of Plainfield and most recently a resident of Senior Star in Romeoville, passed away peacefully of January 4, 2018 after fighting multiple health issues including kidney disease and chronic anemia. She was born on January 30, 1929 in the Halstead and Taylor neighborho­od in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Eladio “Alex”; loving father of Stephen ( Marcia) De La Rosa, the late Linda ( Richard) Banczoszek and the late Andrew De La Rosa; cherished grandmothe­r of David ( Celeste Cogana) Banczoszek, Amanda ( Mark) Yeates, Jennifer ( Lee) Amstutz, Jessica ( Ben) Krejcie, Ian ( Lindsey) De La Rosa, Christophe­r ( Alexandria) De La Rosa, and Hudson De La Rosa. She was the great- grandmothe­r of six children, Joseph, Joshua, Jeffrey, and Lily Amstutz, and Mason and Cole Yeates. Dear sister of Judith “Judy” Bennett and her late siblings Virginia ( Carmen) Garcia, Ignacious “Natcho”( Raquel) Franco, and Robert “Bob” ( Gloria) Franco. In lieu of flowers, we believe Olga would appreciate donations to the Multiple Systems Atrophy Coalition at www. multiplesy­stematroph­y. org in memory of her daughter Linda Banczoszek, who succumbed to this disorder. A visitation will be held from 1: 00 until 3: 00 p. m., followed by a memorial service from 3: 00 until 4: 00 p. m. on Saturday, January 20 at the Overman- Jones Funeral Home & Cremation
