Potter prevails at Pebble Beach

Ted Potter Jr. closed with a 3- under- par 69 to outduel playing partner Dustin Johnson, the topranked player in the world, on his way to winning the Pebble Beach ( California) National Pro- Am by three strokes over four players. Potter completed 72 holes at 17- under 270 to earn his second career PGA Tour victory. Phil Mickelson ( 5- under 67), Chez Reavie ( 4- under 68), Jason Day ( 2- under 70) and Johnson ( even- par 72) finished tied for second.
