Sean Lloyd Jr.’ s 13 points led five players in double figures, and No. 2 seed Southern Illinois defeated seventhsee­ded Missouri State 67- 63 in a quarterfin­al game of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.

Lloyd’s three- pointer with 6: 18 left gave the Salukis ( 2012) a 63- 49 lead before the Bears ( 18- 15) climbed within a basket with a 12- 0 run.

Bradley 63, Drake 61

Donte Thomas wrapped up his 13- point, 14- rebound double- double with a putback with 1.2 seconds left to lift the fifth- seeded Braves ( 20- 12) in the quarterfin­als of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.

Reed Timmer led the fourth- seeded Bulldogs ( 1616) with 18 points. Drake shot 29 percent from the floor in the second half.

Illinois State 77, Indiana State 70

Milik Yarbrough scored 24 points andmade all seven free throws, and the Redbirds ( 1714) turned back a late Sycamores rally for a quarterfin­al victory in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. Jordan Barnes led the Sycamores ( 13- 18) with 25 points.

Penn St. 69, Ohio St. 68

Tony Carr found Josh Reaves for a game- winning dunk with 3.1 seconds to play, and the seventh- seeded Nittany Lions ( 21- 12) may have punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a victory over the secondseed­ed Buckeyes ( 24- 8) in the quarterfin­als of the Big Ten tournament at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Michigan State63, Wisconsin6­0

Cassius Winston hit a goahead jumper with 7: 17 to play, and the No. 2 Spartans won their 13th straight game in advancing to the Big Ten tournament semifinals. The Spartans ( 29- 3) beat the Badgers ( 15- 18) for the third time this season.

Purdue 82, Rutgers 75

Carsen Edwards and Vincent Edwards each scored 26 points, and the No. 8 Boilermake­rs ( 27- 5) fought back another upset bid by the Scarlet Knights ( 15- 19) to advance to the Big Ten tournament semifinals.

Michigan 77, Nebraska 58

Muhammad- Ali AbdurRahkm­an scored 21 points and Moe Wagner had 20 for the No. 15 Wolverines ( 26- 7). Isaiah Roby led the fourthseed­ed Huskers ( 22- 10) with 18 points.
