Bettenhausen Automotive, Darvin Furniture team up on 2018 Jeep Wrangler giveaway
Family- owned businesses committed to community needs, giving back to food pantry and local teen driver education program
Bettenhausen Automotive has partnered with Darvin Furniture to award one lucky winner a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sahara 4x4. Visitors to the Darvin showroom, 15400 La Grange Rd., Orland Park, can register March 6- 26 for a drawing to win the Jeep, which will mark the Grand Opening Celebration for Darvin’s new façade and entryway.
Both Bettenhausen and Darvin are long- standing family- owned businesses with deep ties to their communities. The two businesses have more than 147 years of experience with their customers across the Chicagoland region.
For decades, the Bettenhausen family has been a notable supporter of dozens of local organizations. Their Foundation’s commitment to local communities is reflected on the Foundation website, bettenhausenfoundation. org.
According to John Doolin, marketing director for Bettenhausen, one of the foundation’s projects this spring will provide Tinley Park High School driver education students with The Art of Road Etiquette: Road Civility vs Road Rage, a new guide to help teen drivers identify and avoid road rage incidents.
“Every day we work closely to offer safe vehicles to families in our communities, and many of those drivers are teens who are just learning the ropes for the first time,” says Doolin.“It really felt like a natural fit to provide the high school copies of the booklet.”
Darvin, in conjunction with their Grand Opening Celebration, will be donating $ 5,000 to the Orland Township Food Pantry, which provides assistance to local residents and families with the most immediate needs. They plan to present the check at a showroom event March 14.
